Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Bengaluru, India, seeks an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead CMDB and CSDM initiatives within the IWS team. You will drive design, configuration, and integrations across CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM, collaborating with architects, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, data‑driven solutions.

You will own CI lifecycle, ensure data quality, and build user‑friendly catalog items and workflows, while applying ITIL best practices and advancing platform

Qualifications

• 6-10 years hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and system integrations (APIs, data imports, and third‑party tools).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, hybrid infrastructure, and modern IT operating models.
• ServiceNow CSA certification; additional ServiceNow certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM initiatives, aligning with ITIL best practices.
• Own and manage lifecycle of CIs and IT assets with data accuracy and integrity.

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our Information Workplace Services (IWS) team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ServiceNow development with strong hands‑on experience in CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, platform integrations, and ITSM processes. Based in Bangalore, this role will partner closely with internal development teams, enterprise architects, implementation partners, vendors, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and optimize scalable ServiceNow solutions that improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and data quality across the enterprise.

Your Job

• Provide technical leadership and hands‑on expertise for Servicenow CMDB and CSDM initiatives, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices.
• Own and manage the lifecycle of Configuration Items (CIs) and IT assets, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
• Design, configure, and customize CMDB solutions to meet organizational requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, platform owners, service teams, and integration teams to enable seamless data flow between CMDB, Discovery, and external systems.
• Develop and enhance ServiceNow solutions across modules such as ITSM, HRSD, and GRC/IRM.
• Build user‑friendly catalog items and workflows using Studio, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
• Contribute to ServiceNow platform improvements and deliver innovative solutions to business challenges.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance, standards, and best practices to junior developers and partner teams.
• Apply strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to drive data quality and process improvements.
• Demonstrate expertise in CI classes, relationships, reconciliation, normalization, Discovery, and integrations.

Required Qualifications

• 6-10 years hands‑on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and system integrations (APIs, data imports, and third‑party tools).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, hybrid infrastructure, and modern IT operating models.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); additional ServiceNow certifications are preferred.
• ITIL v3 or v4 certification with a strong understanding of ITIL best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Exposure to HRSD, GRC/IRM, and Employee Center.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CIS-Discovery, CIS-ITSM, CIS-HR, or CAD preferred.
