Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Chennai seeks a Revenue Manager to ensure efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt's corporate strategies and brand standards, while meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

The Revenue Manager will provide revenue accounting leadership, oversee revenue streams and revenue recognition policies, and interface with sales, operations and marketing. This role also handles royalty accounting and invoicing, with two direct reports.

Qualifications

• Ideal university degree in Strategic Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management.
• MBA would be an asset to the role.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as Revenue Manager, Marketing Manager, or Marketing Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department operations in line with Hyatt's corporate strategies and brand standards.
• Provide revenue accounting leadership and guidance on revenue recognition policies.
• Manage all revenue streams and royalty accounting; interface with sales, operations and marketing.
• Lead and mentor two direct reports.

You will be responsible forthe efficient running ofthe department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies andbrand standards, whilst meetingemployee, guest and owner expectations. The Revenue Manager is responsible to provide revenue accounting leadership and business best practices to the hotel. The Revenue Manager has responsibility for all technical accounting aspects of hotel's revenue streams. This role will provide key leadership surrounding the hotel's revenue recognition policies and will regularly interface with the sales, operations and marketing organizations. The Revenue Manager is also responsible for royalty accounting and invoicing, and has two direct reports.

Qualifications

Ideally with a university degree in Strategic Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management. An MBA would be an asset. Minimum 2 years work experience as Revenue Manager, Marketing Manager, Marketing Analyst. Strategic orientation, as well as good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
