Job summary

Tvs Shreshta Infracon is seeking an Area Cluster Manager to oversee multiple construction projects across a geographic cluster in India. You will ensure delivery on time, within cost, and up to safety and quality standards, coordinating between contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

The role requires 14–16+ years in construction/project management, with a proven ability to manage several sites and interfaces end-to-end. Travel across sites is expected as part of cluster leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level civil engineering degree or equivalent; postgraduate qualification in construction/project management is a plus.
  • Extensive experience (14–16+ years) in construction/project management, preferably EPC, industrial, warehouse, commercial, or large infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in end-to-end project delivery across multiple sites and interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of multiple construction projects (Civil, PEB, MEP, FPS/FAS).
  • Ensure adherence to schedules, baselines, and milestone tracking.
  • Drive progress reviews, MIS reporting, and dashboard monitoring.
  • Monitor schedule performance, perform delay analysis, and implement recovery plans.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams to resolve interfaces.
  • Ensure QA/QC, EHS, and statutory compliance.
  • Review contractor bills and resource deployment plans.
  • Lead risk identification, mitigation, and escalation management.
  • Maintain stakeholder alignment with clients, consultants, and EPC vendors.
  • Support project planning, budgeting, and cost control across the cluster.

Job description

The Area Cluster Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple projects within a geographic cluster, ensuring delivery in terms of time, cost, quality, and safety, while coordinating across contractors, consultants, and internal teams.


Role & responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end execution of multiple construction projects (Civil, PEB, MEP, FPS/FAS).
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules (MSP), baselines, and milestone tracking.
  • Drive weekly/monthly progress reviews, MIS reporting, and dashboard monitoring.
  • Monitor schedule performance, delay analysis, and implement recovery plans.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams to eliminate interface clashes.
  • Ensure to support compliance with QA/QC standards, EHS norms, and statutory approvals (Fire NOC, etc.).
  • Review and approve:
    • Contractor bills and certifications
    • Resource deployment plans (manpower, machinery)
  • Lead risk identification, mitigation planning, and escalation management.
  • Maintain stakeholder alignment with clients, consultants, and contractors (e.g., EPC vendors).
  • Support project planning, budgeting, and cost control across cluster.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification in Construction/Project Management will be an added advantage.
  • 14 to 16+ years of experience in construction/project management, preferably in EPC, industrial, warehouse, commercial, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects/sites simultaneously with end-to-end execution responsibility.
  • Strong expertise in MS Project, project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
  • Strong understanding of the EPC lifecycle Design, Procurement and Execution.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating Civil, PEB, MEP, FPS/FAS and other project interfaces.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage Project Managers, Site Teams, Contractors, Consultants and EPC vendors.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management, leadership, decision-making, problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Good understanding of project controls, cost management, quality, EHS and statutory compliance.
  • Strong capability in MIS reporting, dashboard monitoring, risk management and escalation management.
  • Should be willing to travel across project sites within the assigned geographic cluster.
  • Candidates with strong multi-site construction leadership and project delivery experience will be preferred.
