Job summary

Zypp Electric is seeking an experienced Cluster Manager to oversee 3W operations across designated clusters in Mumbai. You will drive end-to-end ground operations, lead field teams, optimize fleet utilization, and ensure service quality and regulatory compliance.

You will manage workforce planning, onboard/train staff, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to fuel growth and profitability in a fast-paced EV logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required.
• 5+ years of experience in Operations, Logistics, Mobility, EV, Fleet Management, or Transportation.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Cluster Manager to lead and manage our 3W (Three-Wheeler) operations across assigned clusters. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in end-to-end ground operations management, team handling, fleet management, partner engagement, and operational excellence. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, achieving business targets, and driving productivity across the cluster.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

• Oversee end-to-end operations of the 3W business across assigned clusters.
• Ensure maximum fleet utilization, vehicle uptime, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor daily business performance and drive corrective actions wherever required.
• Manage hub operations, route planning, and service quality standards.
• Lead, mentor, and manage ground operations teams including Supervisors, Team Leads, and Field Executives.
• Drive workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Conduct regular team reviews and implement productivity improvement initiatives.
• Foster a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
• Manage fleet availability, maintenance coordination, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with vehicle owners, vendors, and service partners to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor vehicle health, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Performance & Business Growth

• Track key operational KPIs including utilization, productivity, revenue, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
• Identify operational gaps and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Support business expansion and launch activities within the cluster.
• Drive profitability through effective resource utilization and cost control.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business, HR, Maintenance, and Finance.
• Build strong relationships with drivers, partners, vendors, and local stakeholders.
• Resolve escalations and operational challenges in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Operations, Logistics, Mobility, EV, Fleet Management, or Transportation Industry.
• Strong experience in managing large ground teams and field operations.
• Proven expertise in Three-Wheeler (3W) fleet operations and team management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and operational dashboards.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in EV, mobility, logistics, last-mile delivery, or transportation operations.
• Experience handling multiple hubs or cluster-level operations.
• Knowledge of fleet compliance, driver management, and operational SOPs.
