Job summary

Zypp Electric in Mumbai is seeking a Cluster Manager – L3 (3W Operations) to lead ground operations for our 3-wheeler fleet. This hands-on role demands ownership of rider sourcing, fleet performance, and safety compliance. You will manage a team of 5+ direct reportees, coordinate with client hubs, and use data to optimize utilization.

Experience in EV logistics and bike taxi operations is preferred. Strong MS Excel/Sheets skills and knowledge of Mumbai routes are essential for timely deliveries

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience managing blue-collar workforce on ground.
• Minimum 3 months of experience in Bike Taxi / Cargo / EV logistics businesses.
• Experience in managing fleet ground operations, preferably in 3W / EV segment.
• Must have handled a team with at least 5 direct reportees.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets (data tracking & reporting).
• Well-versed with Mumbai geography and local routes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day-to-day 3W fleet operations across assigned hubs.
• Drive high vehicle utilization through data-backed decision-making.
• Ensure safety, security, and timely recovery of company vehicles when required.
• Prepare daily task rosters and track execution within timelines.
• Conduct daily rider briefings to motivate and align teams with service standards and KPIs.
• Track daily attendance and productivity of team leaders and riders.
• Track sourcing numbers, delivery metrics, utilization, and operational KPIs.
• Maintain and update daily MIS using MS Excel / Google Sheets.
• Take proactive decisions to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Address rider grievances and operational bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with client hubs and internal teams to ensure service quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational SOPs.

Role Overview

We are looking for a specialized and hands-on Cluster Manager – L3 (3W Operations) to manage and drive ground operations for our 3-wheeler fleet segment in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate must have prior experience in EV logistics / bike taxi / cargo operations , strong team handling capabilities, and deep understanding of on-ground fleet challenges. This is a high-ownership role requiring operational control, rider supervision, asset management, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Ground & Fleet Operations

Monitor, track, and supervise team leaders for rider sourcing and client deliveries.

Ensure smooth day-to-day 3W fleet operations across assigned hubs.

Drive high vehicle utilization through data-backed decision-making.
