Job summary

Wego Consultants is seeking an experienced Cluster Business Head to drive life insurance sales across multiple bank branches within an assigned cluster. You will be responsible for achieving targets, developing teams, and strengthening relationships with bank stakeholders.

Lead, train, and motivate Relationship Managers, implement sales strategies, monitor performance, ensure IRDAI and bank guideline compliance, and maintain high customer service standards to support sustained growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive life insurance sales and achieve business targets across the assigned cluster of bank branches.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with bank officials, including Cluster Heads, Regional Managers, and Branch Managers.
• Lead, guide, and motivate Relationship Managers and sales teams to achieve business objectives.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to improve business productivity and branch performance.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and take corrective actions wherever required.
• Identify business opportunities, improve lead conversion, and increase insurance penetration across bank branches.
• Conduct regular branch visits, joint sales calls, and performance reviews with the sales team and bank staff.
• Ensure effective training of bank employees on life insurance products, sales processes, and customer engagement.
• Monitor team productivity, recruitment, retention, and overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, IRDAI regulations, and bank guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and support business persistency.
