Job summary

ABSLI (Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance) seeks a Cluster Manager - Banca to drive life insurance sales through HDFC Bank branches, manage relationship managers, and achieve business targets.

Reporting to CRH, you will strengthen partnerships with bank stakeholders, lead a team, and conduct training to enhance productivity and compliance across branches.

Qualifications

• Graduate mandatory.
• MBA/Post Graduate preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in Life Insurance/Bancassurance sales.
• Minimum 2-3 years of team handling experience.
• Experience in managing bank partnerships and bancassurance business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned Life Insurance sales targets across the cluster.
• Drive productivity and business generation from mapped HDFC Bank branches.
• Ensure growth in renewal and new business premium.
• Monitor branch-wise performance and implement action plans to improve productivity.
• Build strong relationships with Cluster Heads, Branch Managers, and key stakeholders of HDFC Bank.
• Ensure seamless coordination between ABSLI and HDFC Bank teams.
• Drive engagement activities and maintain high visibility across branches.
• Lead and mentor Relationship Managers/Insurance Managers in the cluster.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve sales effectiveness.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure target achievement by team members.
• Conduct product and sales process training for bank staff.
• Increase insurance awareness and customer engagement through branch activations.
• Ensure all team members are updated on product offerings, compliance requirements, and sales strategies.
• Ensure superior customer experience and prompt resolution of customer queries.
• Support frontline teams during high-value customer meetings and closures.
• Maintain persistency and quality parameters as per company guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and company policies.
• Monitor documentation quality and operational compliance.
• Maintain ethical sales practices and control business risk.

Job Purpose

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification
