Placewell Careers is seeking a seasoned Cluster Banking Manager to lead a network of branches in Bengaluru. You will drive profitability, ensure compliance, and mentor Branch Managers to build a high-performance sales culture.

You will oversee operations, manage risk controls, and foster relationships with local businesses to expand market presence. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years in retail/branch banking with at least 4-5 years of experience managing multiple branches or a cluster.
• Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction and conflict resolution.
• Ability to manage teams effectively by setting goals, monitoring progress, and providing feedback.

Responsibilities

• Achieve cluster targets for CASA, deposits, rand fee income while improving overall branch profitability
• Guide Branch Managers, monitor performance, build talent pipelines, and foster a high-performance sales culture
• Drive customer acquisition, deepen existing relationships, and ensure prompt resolution of escalated customer concerns
• Oversee branch operations to ensure adherence to bank policies, regulatory requirements, audit standards, and risk controls
• Increase branch productivity through effective sales management and cross-selling of banking, insurance, and investment products
• Build strong relationships with local business communities and key stakeholders to strengthen the bank's presence and market share within the cluster
