Job summary

Iris Software in India is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design and implement enterprise CI/CD pipelines, IaC standards, and cloud platform automation. You will collaborate across architecture, development, QA, security, and operations to enable scalable, reliable deployments on Azure.

Required to mentor engineers, optimize deployments, and ensure governance, monitoring, and observability using Azure Monitor and related tools.

Qualifications

• Expertise in designing enterprise CI/CD pipelines on Azure.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using ARM/Terraform (preferred).
• Experience with AKS, containerized workloads, and cloud-native apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise CI/CD solutions using Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and YAML-based deployment frameworks.
• Define IaC standards leveraging ARM Templates, Azure Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI for automated provisioning.
• Design, deploy, and optimize AKS and ACR platforms to support containerized workloads.
• Develop deployment strategies for Azure App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, and WebJobs for scalable apps.
• Lead governance, CI/CD standards, and engineering best practices to improve delivery quality.
• Mentor engineers on Azure DevOps, IaC, AKS, automation, and cloud standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise CI/CD solutions using Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and YAML-based deployment frameworks.
• Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards leveraging ARM Templates, Azure Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI to enable consistent and automated cloud provisioning.
• Design, deploy, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR) platforms supporting enterprise containerized workloads.
• Design deployment strategies for Azure App Services, Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, and WebJobs to support scalable cloud-native applications.
• Define deployment automation, release governance, CI/CD standards, and engineering best practices to improve delivery quality and operational efficiency.
• Design and optimize monitoring, logging, dashboards, alerting, and observability solutions using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for deployment, infrastructure, application, and cloud platform issues.
• Review infrastructure configurations, deployment pipelines, automation scripts, and operational processes to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Architects, Developers, QA, Infrastructure, Security, and Project teams to support enterprise release management and cloud platform delivery.
• Support Agile delivery by participating in sprint planning, release planning, technical reviews, demonstrations, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor engineers on Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, AKS, automation, CI/CD practices, and cloud engineering standards.
• Drive automation, platform optimization, deployment reliability, operational excellence, and engineering maturity initiatives.
• Ensure Azure DevOps implementations align with governance standards, operational objectives, service reliability targets, and organizational compliance requirements.
• Demonstrates strong ownership while driving Azure DevOps engineering excellence.
• Collaborate effectively with various teams and business stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Promotes engineering excellence through automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Apply strong analytical thinking to evaluate complex deployment, infrastructure, and cloud platform challenges.
