Job summary

Iris Software, Inc. is seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure. The role emphasizes CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and containerized deployments, with a focus on Windows containers and ECS.

Candidate should have strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell), knowledge of security best practices, and experience with IAM, KMS, and SSM. Familiarity with Docker and modern DevOps practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD automation and infrastructure as code.
• Experience deploying containerized applications using ECS and Windows containers.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (VPC, subnets, security groups).
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of security best practices, including IAM, KMS, and Systems Manager.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Experience with IaC tools such as CDK and CloudFormation.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability.
• Good to have .Net coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure provisioning with CDK and CloudFormation.

• Set up storage with S3 and monitor with CloudWatch.
• Enforce security via IAM, KMS, and SSM.
• Troubleshoot production issues across infra and app layers.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and containerized deployments

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)tools like CDK and AWS CloudFormation
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Amazon ECS (with strong focus on Windows containers)
• Configure and manage load balancing and traffic routingusing Application Load Balancer (ALB)and Network Load Balancer (NLB)
• Implement and manage storage solutions using Amazon S3
• Set up and maintain monitoring and observabilityusing Amazon CloudWatch (logs, metrics, alarms, dashboards)
• Ensure security best practices, including management of IAM roles/policies, encryption via AWS KMS, and secure access using AWS Systems Manager (SSM)
• Troubleshoot production issues across infrastructure and application layers, ensuring high availability and system reliability
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to enable smooth, automated, and reliable deployment processes
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency, performance, and scalability
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, processes, and operational procedures
  Hands-on experience with AWS ECS (especially Windows-based workloads)
• Strong understanding of containerization (Docker)
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with networking concepts (VPC, subnets, security groups)
• Experience implementing DevOps best practices and automation strategies
• Good To have .Net coding experience
