Job summary

Iris Software, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to design and implement the Managed AI Gateway platform, integrating Gemini, Claude, OpenAI, Codex, and future AI services. You will build scalable API services, governance, and onboarding workloads, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor offshore developers and contribute to architecture, platform modernization, and reliability in a fast-growing setting that values ownership and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE: Azure AI, Vertex AI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini core AI services and API integration patterns.
• Experience with API Gateways, Service Mesh, and enterprise integration platforms.
• Knowledge of entitlement provisioning, licensing governance, and ServiceNow integration/automation.
• Proficiency in REST APIs and microservices; strong coding in .NET, Python, Node.js or Go.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core components of the Managed AI Gateway platform.
• Develop and support AI service integrations including Gemini, Claude, OpenAI, Codex, and future AI services.
• Build and maintain scalable API services, integration layers, and gateway orchestration capabilities.
• Develop and support web portal experiences used for AI service onboarding, entitlement management, and operational workflows.
• Implement authentication, authorization, provisioning, and lifecycle management capabilities.
• Support global user onboarding, access workflows, and service consumption across member firms.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and participate in critical incident response activities.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Security teams, and Platform Engineers.
• Perform code reviews and establish the best practices in engineering.
• Mentor offshore developers and contractors while maintaining hands-on development responsibilities.
• Contribute to architecture implementation, technical roadmaps, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Support platform scalability, reliability, performance tuning, observability, and operational excellence.
