Job summary

Iris Software, Inc. is seeking a DevOps professional in India to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement Infrastructure as Code with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and CDK, and manage containerized workloads on Docker, EKS, and Fargate. You’ll monitor deployment reliability and work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth releases.

The role emphasizes automation, scalable architectures, and a strong ownership mindset in a fast-growing IT services environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code and cloud services (AWS).
• Experience with containerization and orchestrations tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Implement IaC solutions with CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform.
• Build and manage Docker containers and ECR repositories.
• Deploy and manage applications on EKS and Fargate.
• Configure AWS compute services and Auto Scaling Groups.
• Monitor and optimize deployments and platform reliability.
• Collaborate with teams to support release activities.
• Document processes and runbooks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git to support automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and Terraform for consistent environment provisioning.
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Amazon ECR.
• Support deployment and orchestration of applications on Amazon EKS and AWS Fargate environments.
• Configure and maintain AWS compute services including Amazon EC2, Auto Scaling Groups, Load Balancers, AWS App Runner, and AWS Lambda.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment workflows, and environment configuration activities.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Amazon CloudWatch to ensure platform reliability and availability.
• Configure SNS, SQS, and EventBridge services to support event-driven application integration and notifications.
• Monitor deployment pipelines and troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and environment-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for platform and deployment failures.
• Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to support release and deployment activities.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Ensure platform stability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency across environments.
• Demonstrates ownership and accountability while delivering reliable DevOps solutions and platform support.
• Collaborate effectively with various teams and business stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
