Job summary

Iris Software is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design and implement enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines on Azure. You will drive IaC standards with ARM/Templates, Bicep, and PowerShell, and optimize AKS/ACR platforms for scalable workloads.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise CI/CD solutions in Azure.
• Proficiency in IaC using ARM Templates, Azure Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
• Experience deploying and managing AKS and containerized workloads in Azure.
• Ability to design deployment strategies for App Services, Functions, and Logic Apps.
• Strong governance, release management, and CI/CD standards knowledge.
• Monitoring, logging, and observability using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise CI/CD solutions using Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and YAML-based deployment frameworks.
• Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards leveraging ARM Templates, Azure Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI to enable consistent and automated cloud provisioning.
• Design, deploy, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR) platforms supporting enterprise containerized workloads.
• Design deployment strategies for Azure App Services, Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, and WebJobs to support scalable cloud-native applications.
• Define deployment automation, release governance, CI/CD standards, and engineering best practices to improve delivery quality and operational efficiency.
• Design and optimize monitoring, logging, dashboards, alerting, and observability solutions using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for deployment, infrastructure, application, and cloud platform issues.
• Review infrastructure configurations, deployment pipelines, automation scripts, and operational processes to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Architects, Developers, QA, Infrastructure, Security, and Project teams to support enterprise release management and cloud platform delivery.
• Support Agile delivery by participating in sprint planning, release planning, technical reviews, demonstrations, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor engineers on Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, AKS, automation, CI/CD practices, and cloud engineering standards.
• Drive automation, platform optimization, deployment reliability, operational excellence, and engineering maturity initiatives.
• Ensure Azure DevOps implementations align with governance standards, operational objectives, service reliability targets, and organizational compliance requirements.
