Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience in microservices, application modernization and container platforms.

Job description

Design, develop and support microservices-based applications using Java and Java Spring Boot
Build user-facing application components with ReactJS, Angular, Vue or Flutter
Apply microservices architecture principles to create scalable, resilient and independently deployable components
Configure and manage Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS and Red Hat OpenShift container platforms
Build, deploy and operate workloads across the complete application and container lifecycle
Design reusable cloud-native solution patterns primarily for Google Cloud and adapt them for Microsoft Azure
Integrate GenAI capabilities with application and data workflows
Design and support Agentic Solutions for task orchestration, enterprise-system interaction and workflow automation
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, container images, quality checks and deployments
Troubleshoot application, platform and deployment issues and escalat
Document technical knowledge, deployment steps, support procedures, troubleshooting notes and runbooks
Contribute to peer reviews, documentation, SOPs and best practices
Support decision-making, process optimization and resource management
Allocate personnel, supervise team members, assign tasks and evaluate performance as needed
Collaborate with application, platform, data, AI, client, product, architecture and engineering teams

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience in microservices, application modernization and container platforms
Strong experience developing microservices using Java and Java Spring Boot
Working knowledge of ReactJS, Angular, Vue or Flutter
Understanding of microservices architecture, API-led design, distributed application patterns and containerized deployment
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS and Red Hat OpenShift
Strong understanding of application and container lifecycle management
Practical experience setting up CI/CD pipelines
Professional or Practitioner-level Google Cloud certification required
Demonstrated hands-on public cloud delivery experience
Awareness of multi-cloud deployment patterns and ability to adapt architectures from Google Cloud to Microsoft Azure
Basic to working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services
Working knowledge of GenAI integration patterns
Understanding of Agentic Solution patterns, including workflow orchestration, tool integration, task automation, human-in-the-loop controls and enterprise system connectivity
Ability to work across application engineering, platform engineering, data and AI teams
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Clear communication and collaboration skills
Preferred: Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect
Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
Preferred: Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins or Azure DevOps
Preferred: Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools
