Jobtailor is seeking software engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications. You will work on AI-enabled features, APIs, and cloud-native architectures, contributing across front-end and back-end components.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/IT or related field.
Foundational experience in software development and programming concepts.
Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript.
Understanding of front-end and back-end development principles.
Familiarity with API integration and RESTful services.
Basic understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of unit testing and software quality assurance practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and enhancements meeting business and customer requirements.
Write new software, modify existing applications, and integrate software modules, including AI-enabled capabilities.
Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components focused on performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using modern architecture patterns and cloud-native technologies.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions, leveraging AI technologies where appropriate.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, team meetings, code reviews, and collaborative development activities.
Consume and integrate APIs and gain exposure to infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot application issues through root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
Address incidents and code quality findings identified through continuous code inspection and monitoring tools.
Execute development tasks based on provided designs while proposing enhancements and optimizations.
Develop and execute unit tests and contribute to automated testing strategies.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and provide technical assistance to team members.
Support straightforward projects and deliver technical solutions with moderate guidance and direction.

Requirements
