Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced software engineer with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in cloud-native microservices and AI-powered solutions. You will develop production-grade backend services, integrate GenAI APIs, and ensure code quality through reviews and testing.

The role requires strong technical communication and collaboration across global teams. Ideal candidates will have experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• 2+ years as a Senior AI Engineer.
• Experience with GenAI APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI).
• Exposure to enterprise systems (Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow) is a plus.

Job description

• Write production-grade code for component-level features and API integrations based on technical designs and blueprints
• Develop backend microservices, drive unit testing, refactor code, and resolve technical debt
• Conduct peer code reviews for code quality, performance, maintainability, and engineering standards
• Troubleshoot complex bugs, API integration issues, and performance bottlenecks in application microservices
• Implement GenAI integration patterns, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation
• Develop and maintain AI engineering frameworks, solution accelerators, and reusable technical assets
• Evaluate and experiment with new AI and cloud-native tools, APIs, and platforms
• Engage with client technical teams to understand system landscapes, integration requirements, and constraints
• Propose solutions for application modernization, AI integration, and cloud migration challenges
• Support the Solution and Principal Architect in pre-sales activities, including technical assessments, proof-of-concept design, and effort estimation
• Develop and deploy cloud-native services using containers, serverless functions, and event-driven patterns
• Implement intelligent automation components using workflow orchestration engines, RPA integrations, or custom AI-driven pipelines
• Mentor junior engineers on AI tools, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices
• Contribute to Jade's internal community of practice through knowledge sharing, documentation, and architecture discussions

Requirements

• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and/or .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core), Java, or Node.js
• Practical experience with GenAI APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI), LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG patterns, or agentic workflow frameworks
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Exposure to workflow orchestration engines, RPA tools, or custom automation scripts
• Familiarity with enterprise systems (Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, or ServiceNow) is a plus
• Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP) at associate/developer level is a plus
• Clear technical communication skills
• Experience working across global/offshore time zones
• 4–6 years of hands-on software engineering experience
• 2+ years as a Senior AI Engineer
• Hands-on experience building and delivering enterprise-grade solutions across cloud, AI/ML, and application engineering
• Experience in client-facing delivery environments within IT services or consulting organizations is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required
