Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure Architect in Bengaluru to design scalable Nutanix-based solutions and lead hybrid cloud initiatives. You will drive architecture, governance, and performance improvements across enterprise workloads, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

You will also guide migrations, optimize costs, and mentor delivery teams while staying aligned with EY's transformation agenda and security standards.

We are looking for an experienced Nutanix Cloud/Infrastructure Architect (Manager) with 11–12 years of experience to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available Nutanix-based solutions, supporting enterprise workloads and hybrid cloud integration. You will work closely with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to ensure optimized performance, cost efficiency, and governance while providing technical leadership and architectural guidance. Your Key Responsibilities

• Work with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into Nutanix-based infrastructure solutions
• Design and implement Nutanix clusters (AOS, AHV, Prism Central) with high availability and scalability
• Plan and execute data center modernization and private cloud transformation using Nutanix
• Lead migration of legacy/on-prem workloads to Nutanix environments
• Implement and manage Nutanix services such as: Nutanix AOS & AHV Prism Central / Prism Element Nutanix Calm (automation) Nutanix Files, Objects, Volumes Nutanix DR (Leap, Metro, Replication)
• Design networking solutions (VLANs, micro-segmentation, Flow) within Nutanix
• Ensure integration with public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure NC2) for hybrid cloud use cases
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce RBAC, categories, policies, and compliance frameworks
• Optimize performance, capacity, and cost (FinOps principles)
• Monitor infrastructure and ensure adherence to SLAs and operational excellence
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to teams
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture artifacts
• Evaluate new Nutanix features and provide recommendations to clients

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong understanding of Nutanix architecture and private cloud design
• Experience in hybrid cloud and multi-cloud integration
• Exposure to automation and orchestration tools
• Strong knowledge of compute, storage, virtualization, and networking concepts
• Ability to manage projects, teams, and stakeholders effectively
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Experience in Agile/DevOps environments

To Qualify for the Role

• To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have BTech/MTech or Master’s in Computer Applications 11–12 years of industry experience
• Strong hands-on experience with: Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism Central Cluster deployment, upgrades, and lifecycle management Storage policies, replication, DR strategies Networking (VLANs, IPAM, micro-segmentation)
• Experience in data center transformation / HCI implementations
• Experience with backup and DR solutions (e.g., Rubrik, Veeam)
• Familiarity with automation/scripting (PowerShell, Python)
• Knowledge of CI/CD and infrastructure automation
• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks
• Experience in integrating Nutanix with AWS/Azure environments
• Ideally, You’ll Also Have Nutanix certifications (e.g., NCP, NCM, NCA)
• Experience with NC2 (Nutanix Cloud Platform on AWS/Azure)
• Knowledge of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience in governance models (RBAC, quotas, categories)
