We are looking for a seasoned Cloud Architect with at least 8 years of experience in designing and managing enterprise-grade OpenStack and OpenShift platforms. You will lead the adoption of private and hybrid cloud, architect containerized platforms for modernization, and drive automation, security, and compliance. This role provides the chance to work with CXOs and senior stakeholders, influence strategy, and lead large-scale transformation programs across global environments.

Your Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Lead design and implementation of OpenStack private cloud solutions (compute, storage with Ceph, networking with Neutron/SDN).
• Architect and deploy OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms for microservices and modernization.
• Define reference architectures, landing zones, and integration models for hybrid cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Cloud Engineering & Operations

• Oversee lifecycle management of OpenStack and OpenShift environments.
• Define and implement automation using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, GitOps.
• Optimize cloud security, governance, and compliance.

Migration & Transformation

• Lead VMware-to-OpenStack and legacy-to-container migration programs.
• Drive application containerization and DevSecOps adoption.
• Collaborate with infra, app, and security teams to ensure seamless transformation.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor and guide cloud engineers and architects across regions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and CXOs to align strategy with outcomes.
• Represent the organization in client, partner, and industry forums.

Skills And Attributes For Success

Required Skills:

• 8–10 years of IT experience, with 3–5 years in OpenStack and 3–5 years in OpenShift/Kubernetes.\
• Experience in Cloud – Azure or AWS
• Strong Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) administration skills.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and cloud-native design principles.
• Expertise in networking (SDN, VLAN, VXLAN) and storage (Ceph, iSCSI, NFS).
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go scripting.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Nagios, OpenShift Logging.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: Red Hat OpenShift Specialist, CKA/CKS, COA.

Familiarity with hybrid cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and OpenStack/OpenShift integration.

Prior consulting or customer-facing role experience.

Education:

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
