Job summary

Nutanix Bangalore-based Staff Consulting Architect role within the Professional Services team focuses on designing end-user computing (EUC) solutions using Citrix and Omnissa on Nutanix infrastructure. You will lead engagements, architect migrations, and drive modernization with a blend of on-site and remote work.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in EUC/virtualization, strong customer-facing skills, and hands-on expertise with Nutanix AHV and VMware vSphere. Travel to client sites is expected.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design enterprise EUC solutions using Citrix/Omnissa within Nutanix infrastructure.
• Lead customer engagements to define architecture, migration strategies, and optimization plans for VDI environments.
• Troubleshoot complex EUC environments and provide technical leadership to consulting teams and customers.
• Develop reusable reference architectures, design guides, and SOPs for Citrix/Omnissa deployments.
• Conduct workshops with clients to outline EUC strategy, performance optimization, and security measures.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to EUC technical capabilities within the team.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics for EUC solutions to ensure optimal user experience and reliability.
• Drive EUC modernization, automation, and standardization across platforms to meet business continuity requirements.

About The Team

The Staff Consulting Architect will be joining the Professional Services team at Nutanix, located in Bangalore. This team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in end‑user computing (EUC) that empower organizations to enhance their IT infrastructure and optimize user experience. You will report to the Director of Professional Services, who fosters a supportive and empowering leadership style that promotes both individual growth and team collaboration.

The work setup for this role is hybrid, requiring the hire to be in the office for three days a week while also allowing flexibility for remote work on other days.

The role requires some travel to client locations and other Nutanix offices, as needed, to engage directly with customers and support the implementation of EUC projects. This travel will be essential for building strong relationships and understanding client needs in their specific environments.

Your Role

• Architect and design enterprise end‑user computing (EUC) solutions utilizing Citrix and Omnissa technologies within Nutanix infrastructure.
• Lead customer engagements to define architecture, migration strategies, and optimization plans for virtual desktop and application environments.
• Troubleshoot complex EUC environments and provide technical leadership to consulting teams and customers.
• Develop reusable reference architectures, design guides, and standard operating procedures for Citrix/Omnissa deployments.
• Conduct workshops with clients to outline EUC strategy, performance optimization, and security measures.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of EUC technical capabilities within the team.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics for EUC solutions to ensure optimal user experience and system reliability.
• Drive initiatives for EUC modernization, automation, and standardization across platforms to meet business continuity requirements.

What You Will Bring

• 10+ years of experience in EUC, virtualization, infrastructure, or related technologies.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Citrix and/or Omnissa enterprise EUC platforms.
• Deep understanding of VDI, application virtualization, and enterprise networking.
• Proficiency in Nutanix AHV and VMware vSphere environments.
• Experience in designing high‑availability, backup, DR, and business continuity solutions for EUC.
• Strong customer‑facing consulting, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Relevant certifications in Citrix, VMware, or related technologies are a plus.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in‑person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in‑office resources.
