Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru seeks an L1 Azure Infrastructure Support specialist to manage production and non-production environments. You will monitor services, perform triage, and maintain ticket hygiene with ServiceNow while following SOPs for routine checks and patch readiness.

The role requires hands-on Azure VM/storage management, RBAC, and network security group experience, plus PowerShell or Azure CLI scripting. ITIL and Azure certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of IT infrastructure experience with hands-on Azure cloud operations.
• Experience in L1 production support for Azure services and incidents.
• Familiarity with patching, backup validation, and incident triage.
• Understanding of service desk workflows and SLA adherence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver L1 support for Azure infrastructure and platform services in production and non-production environments.
• Monitor Azure services, alerts, dashboards, backup status, and patch compliance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and ServiceNow.
• Perform initial triage and first-level troubleshooting for incidents involving Azure VMs, storage, networking, identity, and backups.
• Maintain ServiceNow ticket hygiene with accurate categorization, prioritization, and documentation per SLAs.
• Execute SOPs and runbooks for routine checks, backups, log collection, and patch readiness verification.
• Assist with patching activities using Azure Update Manager and post-patching health checks.
• Support vulnerability remediation by validating assets and escalating blockers to senior teams.
• Escalate incidents to L2/L3 with clear documentation and evidence.

• Support vulnerability remediation by validating assets, updating status, and escalating blockers to senior teams


• Escalate incidents to L2/L3 teams with clear documentation of troubleshooting steps, impact, and evidence

Requirements

• At least 1 to 3 years of IT infrastructure experience, including hands-on exposure to Azure cloud operations and L1 production support
