Job summary

Rysun Labs in Ahmedabad is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer with 3–5 years of hands‑on experience to design, implement, and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure. You will collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost‑effective cloud environments.

You will design and manage VMs, VNets, App Services, storage, and networking, implement RBAC and key vaults, monitor performance with Azure Monitor, and automate provisioning with Terraform, ARM/Bicep,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-6 years hands‑on experience in cloud infrastructure, with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure.
• Good understanding of core Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, Azure App Services, and Azure Monitor.
• Practical experience with Azure networking, identity and access management, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep).
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles, cost management, and resource governance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, Azure App Services, and related services.
• Manage Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, VPN Gateway, and DNS.
• Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including RBAC, Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities, Key Vault, and access policies.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and resource utilization using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and routine operational tasks using Azure CLI, PowerShell, Azure Automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM/Bicep templates.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability configurations using appropriate Azure services.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize service disruptions.
• Optimize Azure resource utilization and cloud expenditure by implementing cost-monitoring, resource-tagging, and cost-optimization practices.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, configuration records, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with development, security, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support application deployments, cloud migrations, and environment management.
• Follow organizational policies and industry best practices for cloud governance, compliance, security, and operational management.

About the Role
