Job summary

Muthoot Microfin Limited seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure multi-cloud infrastructure. You will build scalable environments across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP, emphasizing automation and reliability.

The role requires hands-on cloud (at least two providers), IaC expertise with Terraform/CloudFormation, and strong networking and security know-how to support production workloads.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with at least two major cloud providers.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Strong Linux/Windows administration skills.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, VPNs, hybrid connectivity, routing and firewalls.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

To design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable multi-cloud infrastructure to support our engineering and operational workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Design & Delivery: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud environments across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP. Build resilient architectures for highly available production workloads.
• Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Standardize and automate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Cross-Cloud Security: Implement consistent security controls, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security configurations, in adherence to organizational standards.
• Operational Excellence: Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues while optimizing performance, availability, and cost across all cloud platforms.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with at least two of the following: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or GCP.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows system administration.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including VPNs, hybrid connectivity, routing, and firewall policies.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, including identity management and network hardening.

Preferred candidate profile:

Experienced Cloud Engineer with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in design, implementation and maintain secure, scalable multi-cloud infrastructure.
