Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.

You will manage Linux and Windows servers, implement security controls, and ensure high availability and performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with at least 4 years on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
• Experience with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Monitor, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and Log Analytics.
• Expertise in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Understanding of cloud security best practices and governance.
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based infrastructure including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid environments.
• Administer Linux and Windows virtual machines and related services on Azure.
• Implement and manage Azure networking services (VNETs, NSGs, VPN Gateways, Load Balancers).
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI or Terraform.
• Monitor system performance, ensure uptime, and respond to incidents and alerts.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans in the cloud.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to ensure seamless cloud operations.
• Optimize resources for performance and cost-effectiveness using Azure Advisor and cost management tools.
• Patch, update, and harden both Linux and Windows servers regularly.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
