Xceedance is seeking an experienced Azure Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise-scale Azure environments, leading cloud transformation programs and driving infrastructure automation to improve efficiency, scalability, and security.

You will guide cloud migration from on-premises, develop migration roadmaps, and build IaC with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps to deliver secure, compliant, and resilient solutions across hybrid and multi-subscription Azure

Qualifications

Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale Azure environments with landing zones and governance.
Proven track record leading cloud transformation programs and hybrid/multi-subscription deployments.
Strong automation via IaC and DevOps practices to improve security, cost optimization, and resilience.

Responsibilities

Architect scalable Azure solutions aligned with business requirements and governance.
Lead end-to-end cloud migration from on-prem to Microsoft Azure with roadmaps.
Design and implement IaC frameworks and automate provisioning (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell).
Design CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions; enforce DevSecOps controls.
Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and stakeholder engagement.
Establish security, identity, governance, and compliance controls across deployments.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Azure Architect with strong expertise in Azure Cloud, Infrastructure Automation, Cloud Migration, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and DevOps practices. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing enterprise-scale Azure environments, leading cloud transformation programs, and driving infrastructure automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and security.

What youll be doing

1. Azure Cloud Architecture

Design scalable, secure, and highly available Azure solutions aligned with business requirements.
Define Azure Landing Zones, governance frameworks, and cloud operating models.
Architect hybrid and multi-subscription Azure environments.
Design backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and resiliency solutions.
Establish cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization strategies.

2. Cloud Migration & Modernization

Lead end-to-end cloud migration initiatives from on-premises and legacy platforms to Microsoft Azure.
Assess current-state infrastructure and develop migration roadmaps.
Plan and execute server, application, database, and workload migrations.
Design migration strategies including Rehost, Refactor, Re-platform, and Modernization approaches.
Manage migration risks, dependencies, cutover planning, and post-migration optimization.
Utilize Azure Migrate and related tools for discovery, assessment, and migration execution.

3. Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
Automate Azure resource provisioning using:
Terraform
Bicep
ARM Templates
Develop configuration management and orchestration solutions using:
Ansible
PowerShell
Azure Automation
Logic Apps
Implement automated patching, compliance remediation, and operational workflows.
Promote self-service provisioning and automated deployment standards.

4. DevOps & CI/CD

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
Integrate infrastructure deployments into automated release pipelines.
Implement DevSecOps controls and automated compliance validation.
Standardize deployment, testing, and release management processes.

5. Infrastructure Services

Architect and manage enterprise infrastructure services including:
Windows Server
Active Directory
DNS
DHCP
Group Policy
IIS
File Services
Design secure hybrid identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
Implement monitoring, performance optimization, and operational governance.

6. Security & Governance

Implement Zero Trust and Security-by-Design principles.
Design identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID.
Establish governance, policy management, and compliance controls.
Lead security reviews, risk assessments, and remediation activities.
Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements.

7. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Provide technical leadership to engineering and operations teams.
Conduct architecture reviews and technical governance forums.
Interface with customers, business stakeholders, and leadership teams.
Support solutioning, presales discussions, and cloud transformation engagements.
Mentor engineers and promote automation-first culture.
