Job summary

The HIRD in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Investment Reporting professional to prepare and enhance client reporting packages for credit funds. You will coordinate data from internal teams, reconcile portfolios, and deliver accurate ad-hoc reports while maintaining controls and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years in asset management or related environments, strong MS Office skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate in finance with 4 to 7 years in asset management, credit, or private equity.
• Strong understanding of investment products, reporting, and performance measurement.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic client reports including performance and market overview.
• Support monthly and quarterly client reporting packages with accuracy and standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather portfolio data and metrics.
• Reconcile portfolio data across systems and third-party admins.
• Input data into Excel templates and perform calculations.
• Analyze reporting requirements and prepare ad-hoc reports.
• Identify ways to streamline reporting workflows and reduce manual work.
• Maintain data integrity and regulatory compliance controls.
• Contribute to SOP creation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare periodic client reports for credit funds, including performance, market overview and
• Support the production of monthly and quarterly client reporting packages, ensuring accuracy,
• completeness, and adherence to internal standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather portfolio data, performance metrics, and commentary.
• Reconcile portfolio data across internal systems and third-party administrators.
• Accurately input data into Excel templates and perform necessary calculations.
• Ability to analyze and understand reporting requirements and prepare accurate ad-hoc reports accordingly.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting workflows and reduce manual intervention.
• Maintain strong controls to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to processing documentation efforts, including the creation and maintenance of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Candidate must be a Postgraduate in finance with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in asset management, credit, private equity or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio/investor reporting, and performance measurement.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word).
• The ability to effectively work as an individual contributor and possess strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
