Job summary

Sigma Earth is seeking a senior professional to lead policy and technology strategy for green hydrogen. You will design roadmaps for electrolyser manufacturing, map critical materials, and build partnerships with OEMs, research institutions, and policymakers.

You will evaluate the full hydrogen value chain, contribute to feasibility studies, and support project development with technical and economic analyses, while engaging diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing value chains and industrial ecosystems.
• Experience in policy development and regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding of technology localisation and industrial scaling strategies.
• Experience in green hydrogen project development or implementation.
• Knowledge of hydrogen technologies, siting requirements, standards, and project economics.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine a strategic roadmap for electrolyser manufacturing.
• Identify and map critical materials; assess supply chain risks and sourcing diversification.
• Identify and collaborate with global OEMs, technology innovators, and research institutions.
• Provide insights for policy formulation, incentives, and certification frameworks for green hydrogen adoption.
• Evaluate the hydrogen value chain to identify bottlenecks and growth opportunities.
• Support electrolyser selection, system sizing, and techno-economic assessments.
• Engage with developers, investors, and policymakers; represent the organisation in forums.

Qualification

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology (preferred specialisation: Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or Hydrogen Technology)

Key Responsibilities

• Electrolyser Manufacturing Roadmap Development: Design and continuously refine a strategic roadmap for electrolyser manufacturing aligned with technology evolution, industry maturity, and growing market demand. Evaluate technology categories, production readiness, and required infrastructure development.
• Raw Material & Critical Mineral Strategy: Identify and map critical materials used in electrolyser technologies, assess supply chain risks, explore sourcing diversification, recycling opportunities, and evaluate potential for domestic manufacturing of high-value components.
• Global Technology Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with global OEMs, technology innovators, and research institutions. Enable partnerships for technology transfer, capability development, and joint innovation initiatives.
• Policy & Market Development Support: Provide insights for policy formulation including incentive structures, supply chain policies, certification systems, and frameworks that accelerate green hydrogen adoption and cost competitiveness.
• Value Chain & Competitiveness Analysis: Evaluate the complete hydrogen value chain to identify bottlenecks, capability gaps, and strategic growth opportunities, including export-oriented manufacturing strengths.
• Project Development & Technical Advisory: Support electrolyser selection, system sizing, integration with renewable energy sources, and cost modelling for hydrogen and ammonia projects. Contribute to feasibility studies and techno-economic assessments.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with developers, technology providers, investors, and policymakers. Represent the organisation in industry forums, technical committees, and stakeholder consultations.
