Job summary

Idexcel in Chennai seeks a Civil Structure Lead Engineer with 9–14 years of experience to lead design and review of industrial structures and pipe racks. You will coordinate with discipline engineers, PE approvals, and onsite teams while validating drawings with field data.

You will handle brownfield projects, apply IS/US standards, and prepare 2D/3D deliverables while communicating with clients and attending review meetings.

Qualifications

• BE/ BTech or ME/ MTech in Civil/Structural engineering.
• 9–14 years of experience in structural engineering for industrial facilities.
• Experience with IS and US design codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design industrial structures, pipe racks, utility buildings and services.
• Review 2D deliverables and 3D models for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with other discipline engineers and onsite team.
• Coordinate with PE approvals and client reviews.
• Verify drawings with field data and site conditions.
• Participate in client review meetings and site visits.
• Work on design and detailing of process/non-process buildings, basements and foundations.
• Engage with brownfield projects and apply American codes and standards.
