Job summary

Sarah Homes is looking for a Civil Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to supervise construction works for residential and multi-storey buildings. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD to prepare and interpret drawings, along with excellent team coordination skills.

As a key part of the construction team, the candidate will report daily to the site, ensure adherence to safety standards, and assist in project progress monitoring.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of relevant site experience (mid-level) in civil engineering.
• Hands-on experience supervising residential and multi-storey building projects.
• Good understanding of civil construction methods, RCC work.

Role & responsibilities

• Report daily to the construction site and supervise ongoing civil works


• Read, interpret, and prepare drawings using AutoCAD


• Coordinate with contractors, labour, and project managers for smooth execution of work


• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards


• Monitor quality of materials and workmanship on site


• Track project progress and report deviations or delays


• Supervise residential building and multi-storey building construction from foundation to finishing stages


• Assist in quantity estimation, measurement, and billing as required


• Maintain daily site reports, logs, and documentation

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering


• 3-6 years of relevant site experience (mid-level)


• Proficiency in AutoCAD must be able to read, edit, and create drawings independently


• Hands-on experience supervising residential and multi-storey building projects


• Good understanding of civil construction methods, RCC work, and site safety practices


• Strong communication and team coordination skills


• Willingness to work full-time on-site
