Grihanta is seeking a Project Engineer to own the complete civil project cycle for residential and commercial developments in Odisha, from cost estimation and planning to site execution and handover.

The ideal candidate holds a B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering, brings 35 years of relevant experience, and is proficient in estimation, BOQ, planning, Excel, and AutoCAD, with strong coordination and leadership on site.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 35 years of relevant experience, preferably in residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of estimation, BOQ, planning and site execution.
• Experience reading architectural/structural drawings.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors and site manpower.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong communication, planning, problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, material/labour estimates, rate analysis and project budgets.
• Prepare project schedules, milestones and manpower/material plans, track progress and address delays.
• Supervise day-to-day site execution of civil work and ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors, consultants and site teams.
• Plan material requirements and monitor procurement, consumption, inventory and wastage.
• Verify site measurements, contractor bills and variations.
• Monitor workmanship, productivity, cost and project timelines.
• Maintain project reports, cost records, measurements and other required documentation.
• Identify site and project risks early and take corrective action.

Grihanta is looking for a Project Engineer to take ownership of the complete project cycle for a civil construction of our residential and commercial projects from cost estimation and planning to site execution and handover ensuring projects are delivered within approved budget and timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, material/labour estimates, rate analysis and project budgets.
• Prepare project schedules, milestones and manpower/material plans, track progress and address delays.
• Supervise day-to-day site execution of civil work and ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications.
