Job summary

AdaniConnex in Gujarat seeks a Lead Civil & Structural Execution to manage the data center civil package on site, ensuring safety, schedule and budget compliance. You will coordinate with architects, surveyors and contractors to deliver construction that meets contract documents and quality standards.

The candidate should have BE Civil with 12–14 years of experience, and prior involvement in data center, IT park or large commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all civil construction on site to meet project objectives, specs, standards and regulations.
• Review and approve drawings, specs and technical documents for civil, structural and architectural work.
• Provide technical, full-time on-site inspection of progress and quality per Contract Documents.
• Conduct regular surveillance and inspection, monitor vendor QC and coordinate sampling/testing for quality verification.
• Plan and monitor resources, costs, materials and machinery for construction projects.
• Manage project operations to ensure targets are met within scope, time and cost.
• Provide look-ahead schedules and progress updates to meet milestones.
• Conduct site meetings with personnel and contractors to update on progress.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure safety standards align with HSE policy.
• Conduct feasibility, optimization and preliminary costing for modifications.
• Ensure state-of-the-art tech is applied for cost-effective engineering and value engineering.

Preferred: DataCenter Projects, IT Parks, Commercial and Industrial Projects, Hospital Projects and Airports proejcts.

Purpose

Lead Civil & Structural execution manager will be responsible for taking care of the Data Center civil execution package, ensuring that a building project is completed safely, within an agreed timeframe and budget. Managing the practical side of every stage of the build, He will work closely with architects, surveyors and other building professionals in planning and delivery.

Key Responsibility

• Responsible for all the Civil construction work on site to ensure compliance with the project objectives, specifications, standards, codes and local regulations.
• Review and approve drawings, specifications and technical documents for all civil, structural design and architectural related work.
• Provide technical, full-time, on-site inspection of the progress and quality of the construction work performed and that it is completed in accordance with the Contract Documents.
• Conducts regular surveillance and inspection of the work, monitor the implementation of the Vendors quality control program and coordinate field sampling and testing for verification of quality results as needed.
• Overall planning and monitoring of resources, cost, material and machinery for various construction projects.
• Managing project operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishment of targets within the scope, time and cost parameters.
• Providing the site team with the required look ahead schedule and progress update in order to meet the project schedule and planned milestones.
• Conducts site meetings with various site personnel and contractors, peer representatives to update them on progress of construction and respond to queries.
• Conduct risk assessment of the construction work and construction site and ensure safety standards are in line with company HSE policy.
• Conducts optimization, feasibility and preliminary costing estimates for project modification and enhancements when necessary.
• Ensure that state-of-the-art technology is applied throughout the engineering phase for cost effective solutions and application of value added engineering throughout the assigned works.
• Ramp up projects in close coordination with various project personnel, vendors, architects, consultants & other external agencies to ensure time bound deadlines.
