Corporate Stalwarts seeks an experienced Civil Head to lead a Greenfield project in the textile sector. The role requires 15–20 years of civil construction and industrial project management, with hands-on execution of Greenfield projects.

You will manage planning, scheduling, vendor negotiations, and coordination with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• 15–20 years of experience in civil construction and industrial project management.
• Experience in Greenfield projects and textile manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and completion of the Greenfield project within timelines and budgets.
• Manage all civil construction activities including buildings, roads, drainage, and utilities.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and authorities for smooth execution.
• Review civil drawings, BOQs, specs, and project schedules; monitor progress, quality, safety and costs.

About the Role

seeking an experienced Civil Head to lead and manage all civil engineering activities for its upcoming Greenfield Project. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in industrial construction, project planning, execution, contractor management, and infrastructure development, preferably within the textile manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of the Greenfield project within defined timelines and budgets.
  
• Manage all civil construction activities, including factory buildings, production blocks, warehouses, administrative buildings, roads, drainage systems, and utility infrastructure.
  
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
  
• Review and approve civil drawings, layouts, BOQs, technical specifications, and project schedules.
  
• Monitor project progress, quality standards, safety compliance, and cost control measures.
  
• Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, environmental norms, and construction standards.
  
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to civil works.
  
• Manage contractor selection, vendor negotiations, billing verification, and project documentation.
  
• Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to management on project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
  
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Production, Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, and Procurement teams during project execution.
  
• Ensure optimal utilization of resources and timely completion of milestones.
  

Requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
  
• 15–20 years of experience in civil construction and industrial project management.
  
• Must have hands-on experience in executing Greenfield Projects.
  
• Prior experience in the Textile Industry is mandatory.
  
• Strong knowledge of industrial building construction, project planning, estimation, and contract management.
  
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and team coordination skills.
  
• Ability to handle multiple contractors and large-scale project execution independently.
