Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects per industry standards.
• Manage construction sites ensuring work meets specifications, safety, and quality.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee maintenance of civil infrastructure including buildings, roads, storage tanks, and other facilities.
• Prepare and maintain reports on project status, site and incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory audits and certifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage budgets through the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants for procurement.
• Ensure environmental responsibility and safety practices for civil works.
• Identify risks and manage emergencies or site challenges.
• Supervise and mentor a team of civil engineers, identify training needs.
• Handle new project activities as directed by Head of Department.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance for civil works in industrial settings.

Position: Civil Manager

Location: Hajipir Plant, Kutch, Gujarat

Department: Maintenance

Reporting To: Engineering Head

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Civil Engineering

Experience: 10-15 years in Chemical / Process/Any Industry

CTC Budget – 15-18 LPA

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects in compliance with industry standards.
• Manage and oversee construction sites, ensuring work is completed according to specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee the maintenance of existing civil infrastructure, including buildings, roads, storage tanks, and other facilities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports related to civil engineering activities, including project status, site reports, and incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulation and audits, and compliance certifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil projects and ensure adherence to budget throughout the project lifecycle.
• Process invoices according to the SOP and approval matrix, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors, suppliers, and consultants for the procurement of materials, equipment, and services needed for civil projects.
• All construction activities are performed in an environmentally responsible manner, enforce safety protocols and best practices for civil works.
• Identify potential risks related to civil projects and manage emergencies or unforeseen site challenges.
• Supervise and mentor a team of civil, identify training needs and promote professional development to improve the team’s skills.
• Any new project activities assigned by the Head of Department or directed by management.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance for civil works in industrial settings.
