Job summary

LR Energy seeks a Lead Civil Engineer to oversee civil review and construction monitoring across CBG project sites. The role focuses on ensuring conformance to drawings, specs, and quality norms, while coordinating across interfaces with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams.

The candidate should have a background in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma) and 5+ years of on-site experience, with exposure to foundations, RCC, and site documentation.

Qualifications

• Must-have: B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5+ years on-site civil experience.
• Experience leading civil review and construction monitoring on project sites.
• Strong QA/QC coordination and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review civil and structural drawings, specs, BOQ, method statements and contractor submissions.
• Monitor foundations, RCC, structures, buildings, equipment foundations, roads and drainage.
• Verify site execution against drawings, specs, quality requirements and approved methods.
• Monitor reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, curing and QC activities.
• Coordinate material inspection, testing and lab/quality documentation.
• Check quantities and progress; input DPR, progress measurement and billing verification.
• Review civil queries, deviations, site conditions and proposed construction methodologies.
• Coordinate civil interfaces with mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works.
• Monitor contractor manpower, machinery, materials and work-front availability.
• Identify delays; coordinate corrective/recovery actions; track punch points and handover docs.
• Participate in progress reviews and provide discipline-wise updates.

Work Location: Project Site(s) – CBG Projects

Job Purpose: Lead civil engineering review and construction monitoring for CBG project sites under PMC.

Key Responsibilities

• Review civil and structural drawings, specifications, BOQ, method statements and contractor submissions.
• Monitor foundations, RCC works, structural works, buildings, equipment foundations, roads, drainage, boundary wall and other civil activities.
• Verify site execution against approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements and approved construction methodology.
• Monitor reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, curing and associated quality-control activities.
• Coordinate material inspection, testing and relevant laboratory/quality documentation.
• Check quantities and physical progress and provide inputs for DPR, progress measurement and billing verification.
• Review civil technical queries, deviations, site conditions and proposed construction methodologies.
• Coordinate civil interfaces with mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works.
• Monitor contractor manpower, machinery, materials and work-front availability for civil activities.
• Identify delays/constraints in civil works and coordinate corrective/recovery actions.Track civil punch points, rectification, as-built requirements and handover documentation.
• Participate in progress review meetings and provide discipline-wise technical/project updates.
