Job summary

LR Energy is seeking a Resident Construction Manager to oversee PMC coordination, construction monitoring and project execution at CBG project sites. The role requires a B.Tech/B.E.

in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and more than 12 years of experience, with responsibility for client/EPC coordination and timely delivery of projects. Preferred exposure includes biogas, waste-to-energy, process plants, EPC/EPCOM and oil & gas projects.

Qualifications

• Required B.Tech/B.E. in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Preference for extensive site/project experience.
• Strong coordination with clients, EPC/EPCOM, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as PMC site representative and coordinate with Client, EPC/EPCOM, consultants and internal teams.
• Monitor construction progress against schedule, milestones and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities (civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, safety, planning).
• Review contractor DPRs, progress reports, schedules, look-ahead plans and action trackers.
• Monitor mobilisation of manpower, machinery, materials and identify resource constraints.
• Resolve technical issues, site constraints, deviations and interfaces.
• Ensure quality compliance and conformance to drawings and specs.
• Lead weekly/monthly progress review meetings and close action points.
• Monitor risks, delays and critical activities; coordinate recovery actions with contractor.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning readiness, punch-list closure and handover.
• Maintain project documentation, site records and as-built handover docs.
• Provide regular project status updates to PMC/Client management.

Minimum Experience : >12 Years

Work Location : Project Site(s) – CBG Projects

Job Purpose : Overall responsibility for PMC coordination, construction monitoring and project execution at the assigned CBG project site.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the principal PMC site representative and coordinate with the Client, EPC/EPCOM contractor, consultants and internal project teams.
• Monitor overall construction progress against the approved project schedule, milestones and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities including civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, safety and planning.
• Review contractor DPRs, progress reports, schedules, look-ahead plans, hindrance records, MOMs and action trackers.
• Monitor contractor mobilisation of manpower, machinery, materials and work fronts and identify resource constraints.
• Review and coordinate resolution of technical issues, site constraints, deviations and interface requirements.
• Monitor quality compliance and ensure execution is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and approved methodologies.
• Conduct and participate in weekly/monthly progress review meetings and ensure timely closure of action points.
• Monitor project risks, delays and critical activities and coordinate suitable recovery actions with the contractor.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning readiness, punch-list closure and handover activities.
• Ensure proper project documentation, correspondence, site records and as-built/handover documentation.
• Provide regular project status and management inputs to the PMC/Client management team.
