Responsibilities

• Quality Control: Conduct inspections, verify materials and workmanship; monitor concrete and finishing works.
• Quantity Estimation & Billing: Prepare BOQs, verify contractor bills, monitor budgets and material usage.
• Project Monitoring: Track progress, prepare reports, implement corrective actions to address delays.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure safety standards and coordinate with Safety Officer for site safety.

Job Summary :

The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing construction projects while ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, budget control, and timely project completion. The role involves site management, coordination with contractors, estimation, and project monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor labor productivity and material utilization.

Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Participate in project planning and scheduling activities.
• Resolve technical and construction-related issues.

Quality Control

• Conduct inspections and quality checks on construction activities.
• Verify materials and workmanship meet project requirements.
• Monitor concrete, reinforcement, masonry, and finishing works.

Quantity Estimation & Billing

• Prepare BOQs and quantity estimations.
• Verify contractor bills and work measurements.
• Monitor project budgets and material consumption.

Project Monitoring

• Track project progress against planned schedules.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Implement corrective actions to address delays.

Safety Compliance

• Ensure adherence to construction safety standards.
• Coordinate with the Safety Officer for site safety implementation.
• Support accident prevention initiatives.

Documentation

• Maintain construction records and site reports.
• Review technical drawings and design modifications.
• Prepare project completion and handover documents.
