Job summary

Oilmax Energy in Odisha Jharsuguda is seeking a civil engineer to plan, supervise and execute day-to-day maintenance and construction activities across the CHP.

You will inspect RCC structures, foundations, conveyor galleries, transfer towers, crusher houses and other plant structures, identifying defects and proposing corrective measures. Experience in industrial civil maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in civil construction, maintenance or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and execute day-to-day civil maintenance and construction activities across the CHP.
• Inspect and monitor the condition of RCC structures, foundations, conveyor galleries, transfer towers, crusher houses, buildings and other plant structures.
• Identify cracks, settlement, corrosion-related deterioration, structural damage, water seepage and other civil defects and recommend corrective measures.
• Execute civil repair and maintenance works including concrete repair, grouting, plastering, waterproofing, flooring and structural rehabilitation.
• Supervise construction and maintenance of foundations for mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Coordinate civil works associated with installation, modification and expansion of CHP equipment and facilities.
• Prepare/verify measurements, BOQs, estimates and material requirements for civil works.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documents and ensure execution as per approved designs.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and client representatives for civil works.
