Job summary

Chandrus Housing Projects invites a skilled Site Engineer to join its civil construction team. The role focuses on supervising RCC foundations, pile cap activities, formwork, concrete pours and on-site coordination with contractors.

Ideal candidates will read structural drawings, plan sequence, manage labour, monitor progress, ensure quality and safety, and report daily to keep projects on schedule for residential apartment developments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise piling, excavation and foundation works.
• Coordinate pile cap, tie beam and RCC works.
• Check reinforcement, shuttering, line, level and dimensions before concreting.
• Monitor concrete pouring, vibration, cube testing and curing.
• Supervise blockwork, plastering and other civil works.
• Waterproofing, flooring and tiling, painting, doors/windows, external works and snagging work.
• Daily allocation and monitoring of labour; coordinate with contractors and subcontractors.
• Prepare daily site progress reports; monitor against project schedule.
• Identify delays and take corrective action; coordinate with architects, structural consultants and MEP contractors.
• Ensure work is executed according to drawings and specifications; conduct inspections; maintain site safety and housekeeping.
• Check quantities executed by contractors; verify measurements for billing; monitor wastage; assist in material planning.

Structural & Civil Works
