Job summary

Technical Entrepreneur Agile Management in Ahmedabad is seeking a Project Engineer/Civil Engineer to manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate logistics, review designs, and monitor quality and safety on diverse projects across India.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, proficiency in engineering drawings and AutoCAD, and willingness to travel nationwide. You will work under the Project Manager to ensure schedule adherence and proper documentation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Day to day site management.
• Logistics planning and monitoring.
• Design review and checking at site as per guidance of Project Manager; verify GFC drawings with plan.
• Coordinate with site senior team to follow execution process.
• Prepare overall project schedule with Project Manager and monitor it.
• Assist in preparing daily and weekly schedules with required manpower.
• Quality control and monitoring of ongoing works and materials; maintain quality checklists.
• Ensure safe working practices and a clean, safe working environment.
• Adhere to required guidelines for working environment.
• Prepare Joint Measurement reports.
• Prepare Daily and Weekly progress reports (written and photographic).
• Material management: RFQs, stock management, and reconciliation sheets.
• Prepare quantity estimation, rate analysis; assist in BOQ prep.
• Assist Project Manager in procurement with vendors and contractors.
• Anticipate issues and discuss mitigations with Project Manager.
• Coordinate with design, contractor and office teams for communications.
• Ensure compliance to Construction programme and budget; document requirements.
• Collate and document as-built drawings and maintain records with agencies.

TEAM - JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Project Engineer/ Civil engineer

Responsibilities include

• Day to day site management.
• Logistics planning and monitoring.
• Design review and checking at site at all check points as per the guidance of Project Manager. Also check GFC issued drawing with plan passing drawing at regular interval to mitigate discrepancy.
• Co-ordination with site senior team to understand and follow the execution process under their guidance.
• Preparation of overall project schedule in co-ordination with Project Manager and monitoring the same.
• Assist to project manager for Preparation of daily and weekly schedule with required manpower in line with overall project schedule and monitoring the same.
• Quality Control and monitoring of ongoing works as well as procured material and maintaining quality checklists.
• Indulge in safe working practices and ensure all works are conducted in clean and safe.
• working environment as per required guidelines.
• preparation of Joint Measurement report as per project manager instruction.
• Preparation of Daily and Weekly progress reports. (written as well as photographic).
• Material management - Preparation of Request for orders, material stock management (inter-site- if necessary) and reconciliation sheets.
• Preparation of quantity estimation, rate analysis and assisting Project manager in preparation BOQs.
• Assist Project manager in procurement process for vendor, contractors and materials.
• Should be able to anticipate issues and discuss with Project Manager to mitigate the same for preventive measures.
• Assist to project manager in communication with design team, contractor and office team.
• Ensure compliance to Construction programme and approved budget and document all requirements.
• Collate and document as-built drawings, verify the same and maintain records of all elements of prefabricated structures, for future reference, in co-ordination with respective agencies.

Skills Required

• Should have keen eye on detailing and consider Quality deliverance as priority.
• Tech-savvy and Fully conversant with Engineering drawings and should be able to work on AutoCAD (knowledge in reading and interpreting BIM drawings is an added advantage.)
• Should be willing to travel on various project sites as and when required at all across India.
