Job summary

Della Resorts and Adventure in Pune seeks a seasoned Safety, Security and Emergency Response Training Leader to design and deliver comprehensive programs for security guards, supervisors and civilian staff across the property.

You will leverage army-based discipline, leadership and fitness concepts to improve readiness, conduct fire safety and first aid training, coordinate emergency drills, and develop SOPs and training materials.

Qualifications

• Retired Army Officer or similar background is preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in security operations or safety training.
• Experience in emergency response and disaster management.
• Ability to train both security personnel and civilian employees.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct training for guards, supervisors and civilian staff.
• Develop army-based discipline, leadership and fitness training.
• Deliver safety training on fire safety, first aid, evacuation and disaster response.
• Train staff on access control, patrols, surveillance and incident reporting.
• Plan and run regular emergency drills for fires, medical, evacuation and security incidents.
• Prepare training modules, SOPs, checklists and practical exercises.
• Maintain attendance, assessments, drill and competency records and report to management.

Role Objective

To lead and manage comprehensive Safety, Security and Emergency Response Training for security personnel, supervisors and civilian employees, ensuring a high standard of discipline, preparedness and safety across the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Training & Development: Design and conduct practical and classroom-based training for security guards, supervisors and civilian employees.
• Army-Based Training: Use military experience to develop training in discipline, leadership, physical fitness, teamwork, situational awareness and emergency response.
• Safety Training: Conduct training on fire safety, first aid, evacuation, disaster management, accident prevention and emergency procedures.
• Security Training: Train employees on access control, visitor management, patrolling, surveillance, incident reporting, crowd management and asset protection.
• Emergency Drills: Plan and conduct regular mock drills for fire, medical emergencies, evacuation, security incidents and other critical situations.
• Civilian Employee Training: Conduct basic safety and security awareness sessions for employees across departments, including hospitality and operational teams.
• Security Team Development: Assess security personnel, identify skill gaps and conduct refresher and corrective training.
• SOP & Training Materials: Develop training modules, SOPs, checklists, assessments and practical exercises relevant to the resort environment.
• Training Records: Maintain attendance, assessment, drill and competency records and submit periodic training reports to management.

Job Expectations

• Experience in security operations, safety training, emergency response and disaster management.
• Strong command, discipline, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to train both security personnel and civilian employees.
• Knowledge of first aid, fire safety, evacuation, crisis management and security protocols.

Minimum Qualification

Retired Army Office, Candidates from Army, Navy, Air Force, CAPF or Police backgrounds may be considered.

Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience
