Job summary

Della Resorts and Adventure in Pune is seeking a seasoned Security Head to plan, lead and manage the complete security operations of the resort, covering guest areas, staff areas, entrances and accommodations. You will supervise and train Security Officers to uphold high standards of discipline and vigilance.

The role requires extensive experience with CCTV, access control, incident reporting, loss prevention, and emergency response, with collaboration across HR and department heads to ensure

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; certification in Security Management.
• 15+ years of relevant security experience in luxury hotels or large hospitality properties.
• Experience in handling large security teams and high-volume operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and manage security operations of the resort including guest and employee areas, entrances and accommodations.
• Supervise and train Security Officers, Supervisors, and Guards to maintain discipline and vigilance.
• Develop and implement security procedures, access control, patrolling, visitor management and surveillance.
• Monitor CCTV, incident reports, key control, and loss prevention activities.
• Handle emergencies, accidents, theft, fire incidents and unauthorized access effectively.
• Coordinate with Police, Fire Brigade and local authorities when required.
• Conduct security audits, risk assessments, drills and inspections across the property.
• Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with security, fire and safety regulations and emergencies readiness.
• Coordinate with HR and HODs on discipline, investigations, access control, and security concerns.
• Maintain security records, duty rosters, training records and MIS.
• Ensure professional grooming, discipline, and conduct of the security team.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and manage the complete security operations of the resort, including guest areas, employee areas, entrances, exits, and accommodation facilities.
• Supervise and train Security Officers, Supervisors, and Security Guards to maintain high standards of discipline and vigilance.
• Develop and implement security procedures, access control, patrolling, frisking, visitor management, and surveillance protocols.
• Monitor CCTV operations, incident reporting, key control, material movement, and loss prevention activities.
• Handle emergencies, accidents, theft, fire incidents, unauthorized access, and other security-related situations effectively.
• Coordinate with Police, Fire Brigade, local authorities, and other external agencies whenever required.
• Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, drills, and inspections across the property.
• Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed incident reports with corrective and preventive action.
• Ensure compliance with statutory security, fire & safety, and emergency preparedness requirements.
• Coordinate closely with HR and all HODs regarding employee discipline, investigations, access control, and security concerns.
• Maintain security records, daily occurrence reports, duty rosters, training records, and other MIS.
• Ensure professional grooming, discipline, communication, and conduct of the entire security team.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline; certification in Security Management/Fire & Safety will be an advantage.
• 15+ years of relevant security experience, preferably in luxury hotels, resorts, large hospitality properties, corporate establishments, or reputed organizations.
• Experience in handling large security teams and high-volume operations.
• Ex-Defence / Police / Para-Military personnel with relevant hospitality or corporate security experience will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, fire & emergency procedures, investigation, and loss prevention.
• Excellent leadership, communication, crisis-management, and decision-making skills.
