Oddsfitness is seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer to build and lead the technology department in Delhi. You will own architecture, delivery, and quality for web and mobile products, and shape the team as the company grows.

You will hire and mentor engineers, collaborate with the founder, and set standards for security, testing, and deployment. Equity is offered, and the role requires on-site work in Delhi.

Qualifications

• Experience with application architecture, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure and security. Web and mobile delivery experience is expected; familiarity with React, Node.js, TypeScript or React Native is useful, but sound engineering judgment matters more than a particular stack.
• Willingness to work on-site and remain close to both the team and the technology.

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Location: On-site,Delhi

The role

We are building software products across different industries. We need a hands-on CTO to build and lead our technology department, deliver solid and reliable products, and keep technology work moving at the pace the organisation needs.

You will lead the initial engineering, design and QA team and shape the department as it grows. This role calls for strong technical judgment, close control of delivery, and the ambition to build an excellent team.

We are offering equity with this role. We want a CTO who sees the opportunity to build long-term company value, takes ownership beyond individual releases, and shares in the upside of what the team creates. The equity percentage, vesting and other terms will be set out in the offer.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, launch and maintenance of web and mobile products.
• Hire, manage and develop the technology team across engineering, design and QA.
• Maintain tight controls and close visibility over priorities, ownership, progress, quality and unresolved issues. Use regular reviews and clear milestones to keep work on track.
• Own delivery commitments. Set realistic deadlines, identify risks early and resolve or eliminate blockers before they slow other teams or the wider organisation.
• Establish standards for code review, testing, documentation, deployment, monitoring and incident response.
• Stay hands-on with critical architecture, complex problems, code reviews and important releases.
• Ensure appropriate security, access controls, backups, data protection and recovery procedures.
• Set standards for AI-assisted development so generated code is understood, reviewed and tested before release.
• Work collaboratively with the founder and other teams to turn business requirements into clear technical plans and dependable releases.
