Role:

Cloudstrats is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to define, lead, and execute the company's technology strategy. The CTO will be responsible for shaping the future of Cloudstrats' AI and analytics platforms, driving engineering excellence, and ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance technology solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in software engineering, AI/ML platforms, enterprise architecture, and technology leadership, with the ability to translate business objectives into innovative technology strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead high-performing engineering teams, influence product direction, and deliver mission-critical solutions for government and enterprise customers.

KRA:

• Define and execute Cloudstrats' overall technology vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Lead the architecture, development, and scaling of AI-driven platforms and enterprise technology solutions.
• Build and mentor world-class engineering, product, and technology teams, fostering a culture of innovation and execution.
• Establish engineering best practices, including software development standards, security frameworks, scalability principles, and operational excellence.
• Oversee product engineering initiatives from concept through deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Drive technology decisions around architecture, infrastructure, cloud platforms, data systems, AI/ML frameworks, and emerging technologies.
• Partner closely with business, product, and operations leaders to align technology investments with organizational priorities.
• Manage large-scale technology programs, ensuring effective planning, execution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to strengthen Cloudstrats' competitive advantage.
• Represent the company's technology vision with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

What we need:

• Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, Head of Technology, or equivalent senior technology leadership role.
• Strong background in software engineering, modern application architectures, distributed systems, and enterprise platforms.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and scaling AI/ML-powered products and technology ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data platforms, and scalable system design.
• Experience owning technology strategy, architecture decisions, and long-term product roadmaps.
• Proven ability to manage complex technology programs involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience building, leading, and mentoring high-performing engineering organizations.
• Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, NLP, computer vision, analytics, or data-driven platforms.
• Experience working with government, public sector, or large enterprise technology deployments is highly desirable.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Advanced technical certifications or business leadership qualifications are an added advantage.
