Kwan Ventures in Pune District, India, seeks a Chief Technology Officer to own the complete technology vision and build a world-class engineering organization. You will lead strategy, architecture, and data platforms while driving AI-enabled enterprise intelligence products.

You will partner with founders and executives to shape growth, recruit top talent, and establish engineering standards in a high-growth environment. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role in a rapidly scaling company.

Qualifications

• Proven senior technology leadership experience (CTO/VP Engineering or equivalent).
• Strong track record in building and scaling cloud-native, distributed platforms.
• Deep expertise in modern architecture, data platforms, and AI/ML adoption.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term technology strategy aligned with business growth.
• Own end-to-end technology platform pricing engines, order management, partner apps, AI capabilities, and data platforms.
• Scale the platform to support multiple industrial verticals with rapid product launches.
• Build an AI-native organization by embedding AI across pricing, forecasting, workflow automation, customer operations, and risk management.
• Lead and scale engineering, product engineering, and data teams; establish engineering best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Technology strategy & platform ownership

  • Scale the platform to support multiple industrial verticals with rapid product launches

  • Drive the transformation of proprietary operational data into enterprise-grade intelligence products
• Engineering leadership & team building

  • Establish engineering best practices, architecture standards, and a strong delivery culture
• Founder & stakeholder partnering

  • Serve as the technology voice in strategic conversations around product, expansion, and new verticals

Ideal candidate

• Proven experience as a CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, or equivalent technology leadership role
• Strong background building and scaling cloud-native, distributed platforms
• Deep expertise in modern architecture, data platforms, and AI/ML adoption
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud infrastructure, Node, Python, React.js, Flutter, and modern backend technologies .
