Job summary

ElevenX Capital seeks an experienced COO/VP of Operations to lead Board-level reporting, enterprise governance across Finance, IT, TM, and TA Managed Services, and to translate strategic direction into executable plans.

You will partner with the Board and CEO, drive budgeting, cash management, and P&L accountability, set KPI dashboards, and build a scalable leadership bench across all verticals, fostering discipline and growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 12–15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a COO, VP of Operations, or General Manager role.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple, diverse business verticals — ideally Finance, IT, HR/Talent, and managed services or staffing operations.
  • Strong command of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Experience overseeing IT strategy, systems, and technology-enabled operations.
  • Direct experience in Talent Management and/or Talent Acquisition in a managed services or staffing environment.
  • Proven track record reporting to a Board of Directors or senior executive/board stakeholders.
  • Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with a data-driven approach.
  • Experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented or private equity-backed environments is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Board on operational performance, financial health, risk exposure, and progress against strategy.
  • Translate strategic direction into executable operating plans with the CEO/Founders.
  • Own enterprise operating rhythm, board reporting, quarterly reviews, KPI dashboards, and annual operating plans.
  • Represent operations in board meetings, investor updates, and key stakeholder discussions.
  • Provide unified leadership across Finance, IT, TM, and TA Managed Services.
  • Standardize processes, reporting, and governance across verticals enterprise-wide.
  • Identify synergies and shared-services opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Lead org-wide capacity planning and resource allocation across demands.
  • Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and P&L accountability.
  • Ensure robust financial controls, reporting accuracy, and audit readiness.
  • Support Board/CEO with financial modeling and scenario planning.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, systems architecture, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
  • Ensure ERP/HRIS/ATS/CRM investments support scalability.
  • Drive automation and data visibility across the organization.
  • Own enterprise-wide talent management strategy including performance and leadership development.
  • Build scalable people processes and a strong leadership bench.

Key Responsibilities
Board & Enterprise Leadership
  • Report directly to the Board of Directors on operational performance, financial health, risk exposure, and progress against strategic priorities.
  • Act as a trusted operating partner to the Board and CEO/Founders, translating strategic direction into executable operating plans.
  • Own the enterprise operating rhythm board reporting packages, quarterly business reviews, KPI dashboards, and annual operating plans.
  • Represent operations in board meetings, investor updates, and key stakeholder discussions as required.
Cross-Vertical Operations Management
  • Provide unified operational leadership across Finance, IT, TM, and TA Managed Services, ensuring each vertical operates efficiently while contributing to shared enterprise goals.
  • Standardize processes, reporting, and governance across verticals to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance enterprise-wide.
  • Identify synergies and shared-services opportunities across business lines to improve efficiency and reduce operational redundancy.
  • Lead org-wide capacity planning, resource allocation, and prioritization across competing business demands.
Finance
  • Partner closely with Finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and P&L accountability across all verticals.
  • Ensure robust financial controls, reporting accuracy, and audit readiness.
  • Support the Board and CEO with financial modeling and scenario planning for growth, investment, and resourcing decisions.
Information Technology (IT)
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, systems architecture, cybersecurity posture, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure technology investments (ERP, HRIS, ATS, CRM, and related platforms) support scalability across all business verticals.
  • Drive automation and systems integration to improve operational efficiency and data visibility across the organization.
Talent Management (TM)
  • Own enterprise-wide talent management strategy, including performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement.
  • Build scalable people processes and a strong leadership bench across all verticals.
  • Champion a high-performance, accountable culture aligned to company values.
Talent Acquisition (TA) Managed Services
  • Oversee delivery of the TA Managed Services line of business, ensuring SLAs, quality benchmarks, and client/stakeholder satisfaction targets are consistently met.
  • Drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and scalability within the managed services delivery model.
  • Partner with delivery leadership to strengthen client relationships, service quality, and growth of the TA managed services portfolio.
People & Organizational Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing leadership team across each vertical, fostering collaboration and shared accountability.
  • Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability structures across all functions reporting into the COO.
  • Champion a culture of operational discipline, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a bias toward data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, growth-oriented, or private equity–backed environments is a strong plus.
