Job summary

Digital Finance International in Bengaluru is seeking a senior operations leader to design and implement scalable processes in partnership with the CEO. The role oversees IT, risk, customer care and collections to ensure efficient, compliant operations across international lending initiatives.

You will build and monitor performance metrics, formalize policies, and drive transformation of Fintech/Retail banking operations, with a focus on automation, security and accountability.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of work experience in a similar Fintech/consumer lending role.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business or related to retail financial services.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, loan operations, QA and servicing.
• Experience with operations planning and transformation for Fintech/ retail banking.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Designs and implements operations strategies together with the CEO and translates them into manageable actions;
• Oversees daily operations of the Operations Unit (IT, Risk, Customer Care, Collections, etc);
• Prepares performance reports on a weekly and monthly basis by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics;
• Maintains a sound plan of corporate organization and maps of responsibilities, establishing policies to ensure an adequate prescriptive control framework;
• Examines current business processes, continually improves on them based on best practices and evaluates performance;
• Creates the structure and processes necessary to manage the organization's current activities and its projected growth;
• Sets comprehensive goals for performance of processes;
• Develops and implements procedures and controls to ensure security and accountability and accurate flow of information within the organization.
• Participates in the design of hardware and software systems to assist in the smooth and efficient flow of information;
• Evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and reports on them;
• Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood;
• Manages the Operations Unit on a daily basis and leads employees to high performance and dedication.

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of work experience in similar position in the field of Fintech industry, Consumer lending - preferably with experience in automating and scaling international processes or launching startups.
• Academic degree in IT, Business or another field related to retail financial services;
• A strong understanding of regulatory compliance, commercial loan operations, loan processing, quality assurance, and loan servicing;
• Experience with operations planning and transformation for Fintech/Retail banking;
