Job description

AI Masterclass is an 8-week intensive program designed to take learners from foundational concepts to building production-ready AI systems. Led by Dr. Arjun Jain (IISc Faculty, PhD at Max Planck, worked with Yann LeCun), the program emphasizes hands‑on learning – students build RAG systems, train AI agents, and deploy real projects. We've successfully run three cohorts and are now preparing for Cohort 4.0.

About the Role

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to manage the operational backbone of our cohort‑based program. You will act as a force multiplier for our leadership, ensuring that strategic vision is translated into operational excellence. You will oversee the end‑to‑end student journey, ensure seamless program delivery, and serve as the central point of coordination between students, teaching assistants, and instructors. The role will also involve coordination work for Fast Code AI, the AI research company powering this initiative. This is a high‑impact role suited for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about enabling student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Cohort Management: Oversee the 8‑week cohort lifecycle, ensuring all modules, live sessions, assignments, and deadlines are executed on schedule.
• Student Progress Tracking: Monitor student engagement and progress. Identify students who may need additional support and coordinate interventions with TAs.
• TA Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison for teaching assistants – aligning on priorities, ensuring consistent student support, and facilitating smooth communication.
• Internal Tools Management: Oversee and maintain internal dashboards and tools used for course delivery. Identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Community Building: Plan and execute cohort events, including graduation celebrations, to foster a sense of community among students, mentors, and alumni.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the bridge between students, TAs, Dr. Arjun Jain, and guest speakers. Ensure all parties are informed and aligned.
• Strategic Growth: Identify opportunities to scale our reach and improve the learner experience. You won’t just follow the playbook; you’ll help write it as we expand the AI Masterclass ecosystem.
