Manba Finance Limited seeks a seasoned Chief Manager - Collections to lead and optimize recovery across multiple states from our head office in Thane. The role emphasizes two-wheeler portfolios and requires strategic leadership to drive performance and reduce delinquency.

You will manage Zonal and Area Collection Managers, coordinate with telecalling and field teams, and collaborate with Business, Credit and Risk to protect portfolio quality.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Collections.
• Strong background in Two-Wheeler Collections.
• Experience in NBFC/Banking or Retail Lending preferred.
• Proven ability to manage large geographical areas across multi-location teams.
• Leadership, analytics and execution skills required.
• Willing to be based at HO Thane with travel.

Reporting to: Management (MD Reporting)

We are looking for an experienced Chief Manager - Collections to lead and drive collection performance across multiple states.

Geographical Responsibility:

Madhya Pradesh | Uttar Pradesh | Chhattisgarh | Rajasthan | Vidarbha (Maharashtra)

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive overall collection performance across the assigned states and zones.
• Lead and monitor collection performance through Zonal Collection Managers (ZCMs) and Area Collection Managers. Driving collection from the zones through inhouse telecalling and field collection executives.
• Review collection efficiency, delinquency, roll rates, bounce, resolution and portfolio quality.
• Identify gaps in collection performance and implement corrective action plans.
• Drive productivity and performance of the telecallers & field collection team.
• Monitor state/zone-wise collection targets and ensure achievement of business and recovery objectives.
• Develop and implement effective collection strategies for improving resolution and reducing delinquency.
• Align with Collection agencies and drive them.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with ZCMs / Area Collection Managers and ensure timely action on underperforming areas.
• Work closely with Business, Credit, Risk and other stakeholders to improve portfolio quality and collection outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements and collection processes.

Candidate Profile:

• 15+ years of experience in Collections
• Strong recent experience in Two-Wheeler Collections Mandatory
• Experience in NBFC / Banking / Retail Lending preferred
• Proven experience managing large geographical areas and multi-location collection teams
• Strong understanding of delinquency management, field collections and collection metrics
• Strong leadership, analytical, and execution capabilities
• Willingness to be based at HO Thane, with travel across assigned regions as required
