Qualifications

• 15–25 years of leadership experience in Landscape EPC, Infrastructure, Construction, Irrigation, Facility Management, Green Infrastructure, or allied industries.
• Proven track record of owning P&L and driving business profitability.
• Strong exposure to commercial management, contracts, procurement, and project delivery.
• Experience leading organizations through periods of growth and operational transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive overall business strategy, growth, and profitability across landscape EPC, horticulture, irrigation, and green infrastructure projects.
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring on-time, within-budget execution and high-quality standards.
• Own the organization's P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management; drive cost optimization and margin improvement.
• Strengthen governance frameworks, risk management, procurement, and vendor management across multiple locations.
• Build and mentor senior leadership; foster ownership, collaboration, and operational excellence.
• Manage client relationships, negotiations, bid reviews, and strategic accounts; identify repeat business opportunities.

RolePurpose

TheChief Operating Officer will be responsible for driving the overall businessoperations, project execution, strategic growth, and profitability of our client.The incumbent will lead large-scale landscape, horticulture, irrigation, andgreen infrastructure projects while ensuring operational excellence, clientsatisfaction, financial performance, and sustainable business expansion.

Therole requires a commercially astute leader capable of scaling operations,strengthening client relationships, developing new business opportunities, andbuilding a high-performance organization.

KeyResponsibilities

1.Business Strategy & Growth

• Partnerwith the promoters to define and execute the organization's long-termbusiness strategy.
• Identifyand develop new business opportunities across commercial real estate,industrial parks, airports, hospitality, educational institutions,healthcare, government, and infrastructure sectors.
• Expand our client's presence into new geographies, market segments, and serviceofferings.
• Developstrategic partnerships with developers, architects, consultants, PMCfirms, and government agencies.
• Drivesustainable revenue growth while strengthening the company's marketposition.

2.Operations & Project Delivery

• Leadend-to-end execution of multiple landscape, horticulture, irrigation, andEPC projects across India.
• Ensureprojects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest qualitystandards.
• Establishoperational excellence through standardized processes, SOPs, and projectgovernance.
• Monitorproject schedules, resource utilization, procurement, quality, safety, andclient deliverables.
• Improveoperational efficiency through continuous process improvement andtechnology adoption.
• Ownthe overall business P&L and drive sustainable profitability.
• Leadannual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flowmanagement.
• Improvegross margins through effective commercial management and costoptimization.
• Monitorproject profitability, working capital, receivables (DSO), and overallfinancial performance.
• Establishfinancial discipline across projects and business functions.

4.Business Development & Client Management

• Buildand nurture relationships with developers, corporates, governmentagencies, consultants, architects, and key stakeholders.
• Supportbusiness development by participating in strategic client engagements,negotiations, and bid reviews.
• Identifyopportunities for repeat business and long-term client partnerships.
• Serveas the executive escalation point for key clients and strategic accounts.
• Overseeproject commercial management, tender reviews, contract negotiations, andchange order management.
• Ensureeffective risk identification and mitigation throughout the projectlifecycle.
• Monitorcontractual obligations, claims, vendor management, and projectprofitability.
• Strengthengovernance around procurement, subcontractor management, and commercialcontrols.

6.Leadership & Organizational Development

• Leadand mentor senior leadership across Operations, Projects, Commercial,Procurement, Finance, HR, and Business Development.
• Builda culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation, and operationalexcellence.
• Drivesuccession planning, capability development, and leadership pipelineinitiatives.
• Ensureeffective workforce planning for both corporate and project teams.

7.Operational Governance & Compliance

• Establishrobust governance frameworks across all business functions.
• Ensurecompliance with statutory regulations, environmental norms, labour laws,contractual obligations, and safety standards.
• Driveimplementation of quality management systems and operational audits.
• Promotebest practices in risk management, sustainability, and corporategovernance.

8.Performance Management & Reporting

• DevelopMIS dashboards and business intelligence reports for leadership review.
• Trackkey business KPIs including:
