Job summary

SYSTRA India is seeking a Chief Expert in System Security & Cyber Security for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project. The role requires 20 years total experience, with at least 10 years in security implementation for rail-based transit systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive design and review of security for rail-based transit systems.
• Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption and secure configurations.
• Ability to perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor designs for security adequacy.
• Assess security controls and tool configurations.
• Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in the signaling, SCADA and telecom layers.
• Coordinate with PD and NHSRCL for project security deliverables.

Missions/Main Duties

• Review the design submitted by the contractor.
• Review of security measures like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption to protect networks and systems.
• Review of Configuration and security tools and technologies to ensure they achieve properly set up and functioning.
• Conducting penetration testing and ethical hacking to assess security vulnerabilities.
• Any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification

Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech in Electronics/Computer/IT stream or equivalent )

Experience

• (i) Total Experience: Overall 20 years of experience.
• (ii) Relevant Experience: 10 years of experience inimplementation of System Security including cyber Security in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.
• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
