Job summary

SYSTRA India seeks a Section Engineer-AMS to support asset management design reviews for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project. Based in Ahmedabad, you will assist senior experts in reviewing system architecture, networking, storage planning and templates, ensuring alignment with project standards.

The role involves coordinating with various disciplines, assessing vulnerabilities, and helping prepare payments and approvals while contributing to secure, robust AMS implementation.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduates with 7 years experience or Diploma with 10 years experience in implementation of asset management system of rail-based transit projects.
• Experience in High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects is expected.
• Strong understanding of asset management and system interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Expert in design review of Asset Management System.
• Review networking, storage, lifecycle, system architecture, and standards.
• Coordinate interfacing of AMS with S&T-OCC, Civil, Track, Electrical systems.

Education

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/CS/IT or equivalent

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Missions/Main Duties

Assist Chief Expert and Dy. Chief Expert in performing tasks that includes the following but not limited to:

• Assist in design review of Asset Management System.


• Assist in reviewing of networking, storage planning, life cycle, system architecture, standards etc. of the system.


• Assist in reviewing of templates, requirements and procedures etc.


• Assist in interfacing of AMS with S&T-OCC, Civil, Track, Electrical etc. systems.


• Assist in the assessment of vulnerabilities and threats.


• Assist in reviewing the implementation of network security measures.


• Assist in verifying the completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.


• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.


• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.


• Assist any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

• Assist any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).This position stands in for all roles and responsibilities of the Chief Expert-AMS during his absence.

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification

Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech)/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/IT stream or equivalent.

Min. Experience

Engineering Graduate with 07 years, or Engineering Diploma with 10 years of experience in implementation of asset management system of Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:


• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.


• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.


• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
